In December I really focused on my finishing touches and surface paintings. As a person who learned to paint long before I ever touched a bag of clay or a pottery wheel it has become much more of my comfort zone in the pottery making process.

Glazing however comes with its own challenges and unpredictabilities, which is why so many potters has this step but it’s one of my favorites. It takes clay and makes it pottery.
