Endovalley, Rocky Mountain National Park

My father, John Kieffer, has been a landscape photographer my whole life. For this painting I used one of his early black and white photos of the Endovalley in Rocky Mountain National Park as inspiration. It was a fun exercise in reimagining the colors of a place I have visited many times but had yet to paint.

This painting in acrylic on canvas board and measures 14”x18”.
